The Birth Of An Idea

Once upon a time on a bright fall day at Iowa State University, a student named Chris discovered something magical. He found a pair of VR goggles that could transport him to different worlds. Suddenly, he was not just Chris in a simple apartment, he was a superhero saving the day! When he took off the goggles, the world felt boring in comparison.

As Chris walked home under the starry night sky, an idea sprouted. He wanted to create his own magical world that would give others the same excitement he felt. And that's how Chris's project, True360, began.

Chris's Dream Take Shape

A few weeks later, Chris found himself sitting in the quiet Parks Library, eyes scanning web pages about 360° cameras. His heart pounded with excitement as he ordered one, marking the start of his amazing journey.

Creating True360 wasn't easy. Chris had to figure out how to pay for everything and even gave up some fun times with friends. But he didn't quit. He knew he could give Cyclone fans something special.

Chris's hard work led him to a meeting with two important people at Iowa State, The Director of University Marketing and VP of Strategic Communications. They loved his idea, and together they chose to focus on the exciting world of Cyclone sports.

The Magic Of True360

The first Immersive Sports World Chris created was capturing the thrill of running alongside the football players as they exited the tunnel. Even though it was a little scary, he remembered all the fans who would miss out on this incredible moment if he didn't capture it.

When Chris came home, he eagerly put on an Immersive Viewer to see what he had captured. He felt like he was back in the tunnel, the cheers from the crowd all around him. It was even more exciting than he remembered. Chris had done it! He had created an Immersive Sports World that gave him that 'wow' feeling he wanted so much.

Excited, Chris shared his Immersive Sports World with his friends and Cyclone fans. They all loved it! They felt like they were right there on the field, waving to the crowds, and getting ready with the team. Chris had managed to create a world where anyone could feel like a star athlete.

Throughout this journey, Chris learned many valuable lessons. He started as a curious student but ended up realizing how his dream could bring joy and excitement to others. Chris didn't just create an Immersive Sports World. He created a door to another world, a world where anyone could feel the thrill of the game from the sidelines.

Giving Back

Chris's mission for True360 extends out to non-profits like Good Sports, where every new highlight that goes live inside of the True360 community equals a $1.00 donation to Equip-A-Kid. True360 also supports the Brain Injury Association Of America who improves the lives of all people affected by brain injuries.

Chris is a big fan of weightlifting. He can squat over 400lbs! Every day, he works hard to get even stronger. Chris lives in Ames, Iowa, close to the heart of Iowa State.
